Frequently asked questions

Getting started

What is YourPartner?

YourPartner is an Indian marketplace where you can book verified companions and helpers — called partners — for everyday social and lifestyle support: watching a movie, accompanying an elderly parent to an appointment, a shopping trip, coffee and conversation, exploring a city, attending an event, and more. Every service is strictly platonic.

Is this a dating or escort service?

No. YourPartner is strictly platonic. Partners offer companionship and practical help in a respectful, professional way. Any request for romantic, sexual or otherwise inappropriate services breaks our Code of Conduct and leads to a permanent ban.

Who can use YourPartner?

Anyone aged 18 or over in India can create an account. You can book partners as a client, offer your time as a partner, or do both from the same account.

Which cities do you cover?

Partners can list themselves in any Indian city. We have dedicated pages for major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, and the network grows as partners join and get verified.

Booking & sessions

How do I book a partner?

Pick a service and buy a credit for it (one credit = one session). You can then browse verified partners, filter by city, service and availability, and send a booking request for a date and time. The partner has 24 hours to accept. Once accepted, you both see each other's contact details to coordinate.

What is a credit?

A credit is a prepaid session for one specific service. Buying one Movie Partner credit, for example, lets you book one Movie Partner session with any partner who offers it. Credits are reserved when you send a request and used once the session starts.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Sessions must be booked at least 2 hours ahead and up to 60 days in advance. Partners have 24 hours to accept or decline a request.

What is the start code?

When you meet, you share a one-time start code with your partner in person. The partner enters it to start the session, which confirms you actually met. Never share the start code over phone, chat or message before you are face to face.

Can I cancel a booking?

You can cancel a request at any time before the partner accepts it, and your credit is returned immediately. After acceptance, please contact support — if the booking is cancelled by our team, your credit is refunded.

Can I review my partner?

Yes. After a session is completed you can leave a 1–5 star rating and a short review. Reviews are shown on the partner's profile to help other clients choose.

Safety & trust

How are partners verified?

Before a partner can be listed, they complete their profile and submit Aadhaar KYC documents, which our team reviews manually. Only approved partners with an active membership appear in search results. Ratings and reviews from completed sessions help you choose.

Where should we meet?

We recommend meeting in public, well-lit places — a café, a mall, a cinema, a hospital reception — especially for a first session. Tell a friend or family member where you'll be.

Are my personal details visible to everyone?

No. Partner profiles are visible only to signed-in users, and phone numbers and email addresses are shared only between a client and partner after a booking has been accepted. Public pages never show individual partners.

How do I report a problem?

Contact support with your booking details. We review every report, and anyone found breaking the Code of Conduct — including harassment of any kind — is permanently removed from the platform.

Payments & refunds

How much does a session cost?

Each service has a fixed per-session price shown on the service page, plus 18% GST. You pay only for the sessions you book — there is no subscription or membership fee for clients.

Are payments secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Razorpay over encrypted connections. We never see or store your card or UPI PIN details. Every purchase appears in your transaction history with a GST breakdown.

What happens if a partner declines or doesn't respond?

Your credit is returned to your account automatically, so you can book another partner for the same service. The same applies if you cancel a request before it is accepted, or if the request expires after 24 hours.

Do I get a GST invoice?

Every purchase shows the base price and 18% GST separately in your transaction history. Contact support if you need a formal GST invoice for your business.

Are credits refundable to my bank account?

Unused credits are returned to your YourPartner account whenever a booking is declined, expires or is cancelled before acceptance, so you can use them again. Please see the Refund Policy for when money is returned to your original payment method.

For partners

How do I become a partner?

Create an account, complete your profile (photo, city, bio, services you offer and availability), submit your Aadhaar for verification and buy a partner membership. Once your KYC is approved and your membership is active, your profile is listed and you can start accepting bookings.

How much do partners earn?

Partners keep 80% of the session price for every completed booking; the remaining 20% is the platform fee. How much you earn depends on the services you offer, your availability and the bookings you accept — we don't promise a fixed income.

What does the partner membership cost?

Membership plans are listed on the home page under Pricing, with the current offer price and 18% GST shown separately. A membership is required to be listed and to accept bookings.

How and when do I get paid?

After a session is completed, your 80% share is recorded as a payout due to you. Payouts are sent to the UPI ID on your profile, and you can track every one in your dashboard.

Can I choose which bookings to accept?

Yes. You decide which services you offer, set your weekly availability and accept or decline each request. If you can't make it, decline promptly so the client's credit is returned quickly.

Account & support

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Use "Forgot password" in the login window. We'll send a one-time code to your registered phone or email so you can set a new password. You can also log in with a one-time code instead of a password.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — contact support from your registered email or phone. Some transaction records must be kept for the period required by Indian tax and payment regulations; everything else is removed or anonymised.

How do I contact support?

You can reach our support team any time from the Contact page by email or phone. For anything urgent during a session — or if you ever feel unsafe — leave the situation first and contact local emergency services (112), then let us know.
