Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. They explain how YourPartner works and the rules that keep it safe and fair for everyone.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and YourPartner Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (placeholder) ("YourPartner", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our website and services you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, resident in India and legally able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

What we provide

YourPartner is an online marketplace that connects clients with independent partners who offer platonic social and lifestyle support, such as companionship for outings, events and errands, or assistance for elders. We verify partners' identity, process payments and provide support.

Partners are independent individuals, not our employees or agents. We do not provide medical, nursing, legal, financial or other professional services, and nothing on the platform is professional advice.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person may hold one account.
  • Keep your password and one-time codes confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Bookings and credits

  • A credit is a prepaid entitlement to one session of a specific service. Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash except as described in the Refund Policy.
  • Booking requests must be made at least 2 hours and no more than 60 days in advance. A partner has 24 hours to accept or decline.
  • Your credit is reserved when you send a request and returned to your account if the request is declined, expires or is cancelled by you before acceptance.
  • A session starts when the partner enters the start code that you share in person. Do not share it before you meet.
  • Sessions are marked complete by the client, or automatically 48 hours after they start.

Prices, GST and payments

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST), which is added at the applicable rate (currently 18%) and shown separately at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay; their terms also apply to the payment transaction. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect credits you have already bought.

Additional terms for partners

  • To be listed you must complete your profile, pass Aadhaar KYC review and hold an active partner membership.
  • Membership fees are paid in advance for the selected period and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • For each completed session you earn 80% of the session price (excluding GST); the remaining 20% is our platform fee. Payouts are made to the UPI ID on your profile.
  • You are responsible for your own income tax and any other taxes or registrations applicable to your earnings.
  • Only accept bookings you can attend, decline promptly otherwise, and follow the Code of Conduct at all times.

Acceptable use

All sessions must be strictly platonic. You must not use the platform to:

  • request or offer sexual, romantic or escort services, or anything unlawful;
  • harass, threaten, discriminate against or harm any person;
  • arrange payments outside the platform for bookings found through it;
  • impersonate anyone, create fake accounts or post false reviews;
  • scrape, copy or misuse other members' data, or interfere with the service's security.

Safety

Identity verification reduces risk but cannot eliminate it. Please meet in public places, follow the safety guidance in the Code of Conduct and use your own judgement. In an emergency, contact local authorities (112) first.

Reviews and content

You keep ownership of content you post (such as your profile and reviews) and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. Content must be truthful and respectful; we may remove content that breaks these Terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the Code of Conduct, that put others at risk, or where required by law. Harassment of any kind results in a permanent ban. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of members, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection law, the courts at [City] shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly by our support team.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and notify you of material changes; continuing to use the service means you accept them.
